About this product
The Mizuno MP-33 Iron Set includes clubs from 3-iron to pitching wedge, featuring Project X Rifle 6.5 extra stiff flex steel shafts. These are right-handed, forged irons designed for skilled players. The 7-iron measures 38 inches, and the set is aimed at low-handicap golfers seeking precision and workability.
Our take
This set is a trade-off: it offers the classic forged feel and workability that low-handicappers crave, but the extra stiff shafts and blade design demand a consistent, high-speed swing. The Project X Rifle 6.5 shafts are among the stiffest, which can be punishing for players with moderate swing speeds. The 3-PW set covers all the essential irons, but the lack of wedges beyond PW means you'll need to add those separately. If you're a skilled ball-striker looking for a traditional blade set, this is a premium choice, but it's not forgiving for higher handicappers.
